I coach using a systems-psychodynamic approach which has been proven to help people uncover the 'hard to reach' issues that are getting in the way of their personal success, i.e. exploring your unconscious processes.

The benefit of working at this depth is that you become aware of the parts of yourself that you cannot see and from this awareness it can help you move forwards more consciously.

I do this by aligning and focusing on three key areas (PRO) - Person (you, your history, life experiences), Role (the role that you take up at work both formally and informally) and the Organisation (the context that you work in). Through this exploration I help you to cultivate more purpose in your leadership and help you to see and make sense of the connections between things at work.

Ultimately my goal is to enable you to develop the capacity to self-coach so over time it's far more sustainable.

“When I first started coaching sessions with Phil, I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect but approached it with an open mind. I am so pleased I did – from the first session, I was learning so much about myself. Phil helped me to identify the ‘why’ behind my thinking and behaviour, which really helped me to navigate better the challenges I was facing at work. Over the course of our sessions, I developed a deeper understanding of myself and was able to put the learnings to good use.  His style is kind and approachable, yet his questions are precise, thought-provoking and enable significant learning and reflection.  I would thoroughly recommend Phil’s coaching to anyone who is facing a period of change or growth.”
